Location: Los Angeles, CA Duration: 5 month contract initially – very high probability for extension Position: Sr. J2EE developer (Middle Tier Developer) *Interview process: panel phone interview with Leads and then an in person interview. Non-local candidates are okay but strongly prefer LOCAL candidates. Large enterprise environments. Candidates must be thick skinned when it comes to demanding leadership, flexible to drastic changes in work loads, i.e. one moment light work load and next too much to handle, and very articulate.* Duties: The design, development and implementation of integration solutions using the ICAN 5.x EAI suite of products and a J2EE/WebLogic platform (EJBs, Servlets, RMI, JMS, JMX, XML, etc.) – ICAN is not necessary because it is so highly customized, it does not resemble original product. * Performing analysis on requirements documents received, assessing the impact of new projects on the EAI infrastructure, estimating time to deliver requested modifications * On-going development and support of middleware environment for internal systems * Experience with Java application development plus one or more of the following areas: JMS, EJB components using WebLogic application server, EAI product experience using EAI toolset (such as ICAN/JCAPS, Oracle Fusion, Tibco), Web Services & XML usage (XSD construction, XSLT, Schemas), SOA, Business Process Modeling (BPML/BPEL), and security implementations * Must have in-depth and hands-on understanding of middleware technologies and real-time integration concepts * Experience with SOATest, Subversion, Hudson, LDAP deployment, Tuxedo, or XXLP (Manager mentioned these two specifically) a plus * Good analytical skills, detail oriented, quick study, and self-motivated * Able to work independently in a fast paced, deadline driven environment * Ability to multitask within an environment of rapidly changing priorities. Proactively solve problems and be a team player * Effective time management and communication skills a must.
