Position: Oracle Developer Location: Jacksonville, FL Duration: 5.5 months Start: Monday This is a backfill for a position that the candidate left the client at today. They want to interview today and tomorrow and start on Monday I need someone that is proficient in development and performance improvements on oracle This is the most important aspect of the position, tune queries, understand DBA tasks, and understand DBA tasks Responsible for identifying performance improvements on Oracle 9.2.0.4 and 10.1. Responsible for reviewing explain plans and applying indexes and hints to improve performance. Work with client DBA to make recommendations on performance improvements. I realize this reads a little like a DBA and a developer, the position is a combination of both. It is a developer that understands performance tuning.
