Location: Burbank, CA Duration: 2 Years No of Positions: 1 Rate: $DOE REQUIRED SKILLS: - Overall experience 6+ years IT experience and 3-4 years experience in Cognos planning. - Should have expert knowledge of the IBM Cognos software namely Enterprise Planning version 8.x - Should have worked on Cognos Planning Analyst and Manager (desirable) for model build - Should be able to create and maintain Contributor applications, e-lists, and rights. - Should have prior experience of creating and maintaining Access tables and defining the workflow - Should be able to build Macros, System links, Admin links - Should have prior experience in Data Import and Data Publish jobs from and to an external database respectively. - Good knowledge of MS office tools like Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project necessary - Good understanding of SQL, databases would be an added advantage EXPECTED DELIVERABLES/RESPONSIBILITIES: - Should have a hands-on experience of the IBM Cognos software on at least 2 Cognos Planning projects. IBM Cognos TM1 9.x project experience would be an added advantage - Should have worked on model Design and proto-typing Application development, performance testing, user training and project support. - Should be capable to work on diverse business areas and should be able to quickly understand the business processes - Should be able to map the business requirements into the planning model - Preparing project documents at various stages of project - Should demonstrate leadership skills and a proactive approach whenever required - Should have a very good exposure in client interaction - Should be a very good team player with experience working with offshore teams.
