Must have 6+ years of JAVA, J2EE and SQL (DB2 and Oracle) development experience, with ability to trouble shoot production issues. . This position will be part of the application support team for our large billing related systems. . The ideal candidate would be strong in Java, DB2, Oracle, J2EE related technologies - Struts, JSP, JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax, XML, JAXB, Web Services (creating and consuming), Hibernate and/or Spring, JDBC, Spring, JMS/MDB/MQ, JUnit and have excellent communication skills. . As part of the application support team, this person will be helping with day time resolution of production issues of our large billing applications; As part of that they will be involved in independent trouble shooting of problems called in via help desk tickets, working with the SMEs to figure out root cause analysis and, reporting the resolution back to the end users. . This position will involve no project type work. They will make many accomplishments throughout the day versus being on long term projects. .
