6 to 8 years of experience in Data Archival and Data Growth solutions

*Technical/Functional Skills:*

Data Growth Management, Data Archival, Data Restore, Data Discovery, IBM
DB2, MS- SQL Server and Oracle database

Experience Required:*
• Minimum 5 years in Data Archival, Data Restore, Data Discovery
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Archival and Discovery using IBM
Optim Data Growth and Discovery tools (Data Growth, Discovery, Open
Connect, Access Manager)
*
Roles & Responsibilities:*
• Candidate will perform Data Archival and Restore on distributed systems
(IBM DB2, Oracle and SQL server...etc.)
• Executive presence and ability to work with IBM-Optim tools (Data Growth,
Discovery, Open Connect, Access Manager)
• Experience with Data Archival on different platforms (Mainframe,
Windows...etc.)
• Experience in Data Growth and Data Discovery
• Experience in Data Archival, Data Restore and Data Discovery
• Experience in analyzing complex databases of different platforms
• Experience in collecting archival requirements and implementing high
performance solutions for archival and restore
• Experience in installing, configuring and tuning IBM Optim toolset
• Experience in upgrading and apply patches for IBM Optim
• Candidate will make recommendations for compliance based on their
experience and knowledge of security principles and practices, and
governing laws, regulations, and industry standards
• Identify resource conflicts, influence and facilitate course corrections
to fulfill key project milestones
• Participate in continuous process and program improvement that lead to
reduced costs, time-to-market and increased predictability
• Organize the status meetings and send the Status Report (Daily, Weekly
etc.) to the project team
• Attend the regular client call and discuss the weekly status with the
customers.
• Communication with the client as required
• Escalate the issues about project requirements (Software, Hardware,
Resources) to Project Manager
• Work with the client team to produce advanced metrics and reporting
capabilities
• Provide timely project status updates, risks and issues to all
stakeholders.
