The engineer must have a background primarily in security operations, with some data operational background desired. Candidates demonstrate extremely strong technical analytical skills while providing advanced analysis of network and network-security related problems. The Security Operations Engineer will have a strong network and security background and will play a role in the support and configuration of devices and services. Primary responsibilities include configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure including managed firewalls, IDS and networking equipment, managing network escalations, process creation and improvement, documentation and initial support of owned -platforms and technologies within the group. Expectation to participate in a rotational 24x7 weekly on-call schedule with the ability to communicate and coordinate with other teams to resolve issues in a timely manner. * * *Qualifications* Minimum 5 Years Network Security operational experiences Candidate must have a strong understanding of Cisco ASA firewalls and general security One or more of the following certifications is desired, but not required. - CCNA, CCNP, CCSP, CISSP.
