*Position: Oracle Financials Functional* *Location: Boston, MA* *Duration: 3 - 12+ Months* *VISA: No Constraints* *Rate: $Open/hr on C2C* *No # Positions: 2* The Financial Systems Analyst will be part of the Accounting Information Systems team, a group that manages the Company’s Oracle General Ledger chart of accounts (“COA”) and reporting hierarchies and that provides functional and configuration support to the IT E-Business Suite Applications team. The Analyst will be primarily responsible for writing reports and documentation to support the corporate Accounting team and will also support the enterprise-wide finance functions by designing, building, and maintaining the financial systems and processes that are required to produce timely and accurate financial and management reports. *Required competencies* · Experience working on an Oracle implementation · FSG report experience – has written FSGs · Experience doing chart of account maintenance · General ledger implementation experience; experience setting up the general ledger module · Experience reporting with OBIEE, Discoverer and/or other Oracle modules *Key Responsibilities* · Review and analyze Oracle COA maintenance requests, following established standards and guidelines · Partner with various finance teams to create and modify COA hierarchies in support of new or revised financial reporting requirements. · Support a variety of Oracle-related processes, such as cross-validation and security rules and ancillary maintenance requests · Develop and maintain financial statement generator (“FSG”) reports · Proactively identify issues and risk, drive those issues to closure, and develop plans for managing and mitigating risks. · Provide back office functional Oracle support to corporate Finance team.
