*Position: Oracle EBS Developer*
*Location: Princeton, NJ*
*Duration: 6 + Months*
*Mode of Interview: In-person required*
We are seeking an EBS Adapter Design & Development consultant for a 6month
contract, with the possibility to extend.
A minimum of 5 years of direct development experience in customizing Oracle
EBS R12 is required. This contractor will analyze requirements, develop
technical design specifications, and develop packages, APIs, interfaces,
extensions, and business events and for Oracle EBS R12.
Responsibilities:
- Design and development of custom Business Events that perform Change
Data Capture and generate complex payloads
- Develop customizations and extensions to Oracle Applications
- Coordinate with Business Analysts and Functional Consultants to
understand and document the business requirements
- Provide on-going application technical support to business customers,
troubleshooting and resolving complex problems
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Minimum of five years of hands-on development experience in Oracle
e-Business Suite R12 implementations and/or upgrades
- Very strong technical skills in extending and supporting Oracle R12
- Knowledge and experience using the following tools:
- PL/SQL
- SQL*Plus
- Forms
- Reports
- Workflow Builder
- XML Publisher
- J developer
- Application Object Library
- Oracle APIs, OA Framework
- Familiarity with Oracle's methodology documents such as MD-050, MD-070
and MD-120
- Able to understand financial and Operational modules, business
processes, and underlying table structures in relation to the Oracle R12
application
- Development of wrapper services that encapsulate functionality for the
modification of data in relevant subject areas
- Ability to complete source-target mapping at the attribute level,
including transformations to and from the Canonical Data Model
- Establishment and configuration of subscription-based queues that
facilitate real-time extraction of payloads
- Must be a team player who can work in a collaborative environment
- Must have analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be highly self-motivated with a drive to achieve and get results
from themselves and their collaborative teams
- Should have experience with specific subject areas, including but not
limited to Customer, Supplier, Asset Management, and Contracts
