Team size overall is 14+ / there are 4 other backend engineers. Looking for 8+ years of Backend Development experience / this will be a 100% backend focused role. Front end experience would be a plus but must have 8+ years of backend experience. Very little ramp up time, looking for someone that could contribute from Day 1 Collaborative environment but must also be able to contribute independently. Looking for someone with strong “soft skills” someone that is able to gather requirements, question / contribute to decision making. Must have Core Java programming experience / working with Spring Framework Must have strong Database experience/ primarily working with MySQL Along with Spring, they must have experience with Microservices They must be able to write APIs from scratch and maintain existing APIs Any Kafka / Data structure / Big Data experience would be a plus AI / ML experience would be a plus Any cloud experience would be a plus Masters would be a plus / strong communications skills are needed Open to both small environment experience and/or enterprise level experience The interview process will be multiple rounds.
