the only Powercomputing models that will work with a G4 are the Powerbase,
Powertower Pro, and the Powerwave. These models are based on the Alchemy and
the Tunsami motherboards. They're also the only models that can currently run
OSX (though to do this they need a patch that's available at :
http://eshop.macsales.com/OSXCenter/framework.cfm?page=Instructions.html
also, the latest issue of Macworld suggests that unless you're running
Photoshop the G4 is functionaly very much the same as the same speed G3
(stands to figure since the difference is the Altivec processing which is
used by very few programs currently. OSX will make much more use of the
features of the G4 but again, you need specific PCC models to run OSX.
