Actually, the ATI Radeon PCI card has a DVI connector, and Apple 
sells a DVI-ADC converter.  Also, the 3DFx Voodoo5 had DVI (I think) 
on its PCI version for Mac.

Thus, it's possible that you could use the new-fangled Apple monitor 
with your old-school Mac.
