Most power supply units have a sticker
(inside, on the PSU itself) with various output
voltages listed. One of them listed will be
either 5V or 3.3V.

Remove external L2 cache when using a G3/
G4 card. Those already have the L2 on them,
and the exisitence of your old L2 won't add to
the mix -- it'll just freak out the system.
