>Cockpit malfunction

I once worked with an ex-Marine (if there really
is such a thing as "ex") and the term he used
for the same type of malady was "pilot error".
Not as subtle as what you describe, but I'm
guessing the cause the same.

As for PowerComputing keyboards, the only
one I've used was the one I just included with
the PB 180 I finished for someone. It IS
cheesy. Kinda mushy, particularly the space
bar.

Not quite as tactile as the Apple Extended II
(their last ADB) and anyone who loved the
hard clicks and clacks of the original Apple
Extended would never go for the
PowerComputing keyboard (or anything else
that wasn't like an IBM Selectric. Just today I
saw a new IBM Selectric "by Lexmark" at Office
Max/Depot/whatever for $549.00 and thought
"that's reasonable" -- that's how nice the keys
feel.)

Did I just go wacko or can I get an Amen from
anybody on this? If not, everybody's
assignment is to go down to Office Max/Depot/
whatever and type your name on the
unplugged IBM Selectric "by Lexmark" before
replying.
