Hi-

Apple's Laserwriter 8500 is about the same vintage as the Power Computing
machines that this list is really about. Maybe one or more of you have an
8500. I do, and it's given very good service. But for as long as I can
remember I've not been able to print legal-size QuarkXPress documents to the
8500 in landscape mode - using the Multipurpose tray. The image always
starts several inches down and to the right of where it should start. The
workaround: use tabloid size paper. That's OK for a proof, but not OK if one
is trying to print fliers for church.

The manual? I have a good filing system now. I didn't when I got the printer
3+ years ago. It may be here someplace, but it's out of touch.

I print from a Power Tower Pro and from an iBook. Using the Laserwriter 8
driver, version 8.7.1. The PPD file is Laserwriter 8 PPD v1.2. TIA.
