I'm running two of Velocity's 128mb DIMMs in my PTP with Sonnet 500mhz G3
upgrade - no trouble at all. I got the type Velocity recommends (think
that's EDO) though the Power Computing manual talks about the other kind
(non-EDO or FPM or something). The rest of the RAM (640 total) is "the other
kind" and that seems to coexist OK. Perhaps my G3 upgrade makes this info
immaterial for you, perhaps not.
