retrace the things you did to get
things working right :

-Tried zapping PRAM...
-swapped the TT128 with a voodoo 3.
- swapped monitors.
- Pressed the CUDA

plus others, no doubt.

the hardware is likely stable now (ram problems usually give the car crash
at startup),
so lockups are more likely software related.
the CPU will now be accessing the HD for information that is normally
stored in the cache dimm,
so you probably want to look at the sort of operations which might
overwhelm the machine.
by heavy CPU throughput (graphics?)

it's always a good idea to rebuild the desktop (command-option at startup)
if lockups occur and perhaps optimise the HD (Norton utilities Spped Disk
eg) to ensure top efficiency.

if you still have the voodoo card in there ensure that the proper control
panel is available

It was great to see Chuck's message re the cache dimm...top notch group this..
...list mom will be proud...

It sure is a pleasure to see my name in lights...(^_^)

Cheers...Michael
