Has ANYONE had any success upgrading a PowerBase or a 6400 machine or any
Mac that has a L2 cache accelerator? I have used Scott Boone's patches to
upgrade from OS 9.1 to OS 9.2.1, and as long as I disable the accelerator,
all is fine. Unfortunately that makes for a very slow machine. I suspect
that the software that enables a L2 cache accelerator is incompatible with
OS 9.2.1. My particular accelerator is NewerTech's Maxpowr.
