HELP!

I am the somewhat happy owner of a Power Tower Pro 200, and have had nothing
but trouble with it. Mind you, I am fairly new to the beautiful world of
Macs, but I'm stumped! First, here is my system:

96MB of ram
Seagate 2.1g 50pin HD (came with the system)
Seagate 4.3g 68pin HD (on a 50-68pin converter)
Panasonic 4x CD burner 50pin
16x CDROM that came with it
OS 8.0/8.1, 9.1

Everything was working in complete harmony, until one day, a series of 4 - 5
beeps, each one louder than the last, would sound off at startup, and during
drive setup. Now, the 2.1 cannot be seen at all. Even when I unplug the
2.1, I still get the sounds.

In addition, the system will crash way too often for my liking - Simcity
2000, Winamp Mac, iTunes, Microsoft Entourage...my system refuses to stay
stable.

I am at my wits end...any help would be greatly appreciated!
