Generically speaking, you need 168-pin, 60 ns, 5V FPM DIMMs for a PTP. To see the configuration and size of your existing RAM, go to: -- The Apple menu in upper left-hand corner of screen -- Pull down to Apple System Profiler -- Click on System Profile tab -- Click on Memory Overview -- Click on Built-in Memory This won't tell you the _brand_ of RAM, but will at least give you an idea of the size of the DIMMs already installed and in what slot. --Chuck -- Power Computing is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... 123Inkjets.com <http://lowendmac.com/ad/123inkjets.html> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Power Computing list info: <http://lowendmac.com/power/list.html> Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> List archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/powercomputing%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Macintosh?
