Just a quick note (apologies if this has been covered before) that bare bones PowerCurve systems are available at http://www.shrevesystems.com for $99. A couple of years back this was a decent price but now it seems a bit steep.
This machine has no RAM, no HD and no CD. It has a 601/120 daughtercard. Bus looks to be 40Mhz. Of note: * 604 and 604e processor cards from other PowerCenter machines work. Cards from PowerBases or any Apple machines will not work. Most G3 upgrades should work (I prefer PowerLogix). * As I mentioned in an earlier post, this machine does have a video slot on the motherboard which allows you to use a DOS compatiblity card intended for the PowerMac 7200. Of course, you can probably get a real cheap 7500, 7600 or 7300 (great machine) off of eBay for cheap. And those will have memory, CD and HD.
