CDROM Toolkit is for mounting third party 
CDROM drives. Not hard drives. You still need 
this if you want to use the CDROM inside your 
PowerComputing computer. Or buy a used 
Apple CDROM drive instead.

Get this too, because it has both Apple's Drive 
Setup and HD toolkit. Either one should work 
to initialize the hard drive. If using the Drive 
Setup, ignore the warning. At this point you 
have nothing to lose anyway.

The 8.1 Update should install fine on top of 
the version of 8.0 on the PowerComputing CD.

Again, you need both "Toolkits". Come to think 
of it, I'd expect both to be on the one 
PowerComputing CD.
