The PowerCurve 120 uses 168-pin 50-volt 70 ns (60 ns, which are more widely
available, would be even better) DIMMs. Any such DIMM, whether marketed for
PCs or Macs, should work.

With four slots, it can hold four 64-MB DIMMs for a total of 256 MB.

The addition of a 64-MB DIMM, giving you 96 MB total, should provide you
plenty for email, word processing and other general tasks. You could then
turn Virtual Memory off, or you could set it to 1 MB, giving you a total of
97 MB. The latter would probably be the best way to go.

As for OS, I haven't used this machine. But assuming it has its original 601
processor at 120 mHz, if it were my machine, I would use Mac OS 7.6.1. I had
very good luck with it, and while later OSes offer a few more features, it
would be very workable with that machine.

Good luck!
