I am at work on my PC (Piece of C$#%) so IE is a bit different, but here are some hints from IE help. I would try these two things first, but one at a time.

There are different classes of security certificates, each one providing a different level of credibility. You can obtain your personal security certificate from certification authorities. http://www.microsoft.com/isapi/Redir.dll?prd=ie&ar=security&sba=certif Some secure sites require a higher level of connection security than what you might have installed on your computer. The Internet Explorer High Encryption Pack gives you 128-bit encryption, and the upgrade to 128-bit secure connection support is now available worldwide.
