The SCSI hard drive I bought from OWC a while back was a 68 pin (or was it 80?) with a 50 pin SCSI adapter. After messing with it for a VERY LONG time, I found the cryptic instruction stating that it was a RAID drive for use as stacked storage and that it was not capable of being the boot drive (with the operating system on it.) By this time I had it booting, but it booted very slowly. Over time, it got better and now boots up just fine. More WEIRDNESS! Why would they make a nonbootable drive? Especially one that boots? -- Power Computing is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... 123Inkjets.com <http://lowendmac.com/ad/123inkjets.html> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Power Computing list info: <http://lowendmac.com/power/list.html> Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> List archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/powercomputing%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Macintosh?
