The SCSI hard drive I bought from OWC a while back was a 68 pin (or was it
80?) with a 50 pin SCSI adapter.
After messing with it for a VERY LONG time, I found the cryptic instruction
stating that it was a RAID drive for use as stacked storage and that it was
not capable of being the boot drive (with the operating system on it.)
By this time I had it booting, but it booted very slowly.
Over time, it got better and now boots up just fine.
More WEIRDNESS!

Why would they make a nonbootable drive? Especially one that boots?
