I had a similar problem with a PowerCenterPro some time ago. I finally went
to eBay and
bought a floppy drive from a PowerComputing computer to be sure. It worked,
but I cannot understand why floppy drives from Apple machines didn't seem
to work. In my case they would eject the dick immediately , asame as yours.
Other times a thourough cleaning has worked, but not that time.
