Kay...did you use the menu option 'check or missing' disks with Norton ?
This sounds like a file directory error.

...notwithstanding that Listmom uses a Umax J700, if truth were known, and
he had the choice between the J700/180 and a PowerComputing PowerTowerPro
180, I believe it's safe to say he would have chosen the PowerTowerPro in a
heartbeat....=)
