John,

Apples utility won't even recognize the drive (even the newest version), FWB
that came with the PCP sees it but won't initialize it, I paid for the
newest FWB PE...no go, and finally I tried Intech's
HDST (very nice utilities...) ... won't do it either...

Thanks for your suggestions (and any others you may have...)

ps - I'm sure the PCP is worth more to me than I could get for it.

ppss - Installed a Powerlogix G3/400 512MB cach chip and it is impressive -
also 256 MB of ram
