Michael,
I had seriously considered sending you the !@#$% Power Logix Bd. I may
yet. I have no time or patience to be constantly trouble shooting a
computer. Hell, if I wanted that kind of annoyance ... I'd have a PeeSee
loaded with MicroSuck S/W.

That's why I have decided to Freeze everything at OS 9.1. Become a
Dinosaur like one of the crusty old coots with their Commodores. The two
PCP 240's with Sonnet 500Mhz G3 bds work flawlessly. Well nearly.

The only glitch is AppleWorks 6.1.2 on my external Hard disk with it's
own OS. I boot with it to pay bills, etc. All my Bookkeeping, Financial
Data, Investment records on it. Plus, All my Vendor Envelopes & L/Heads
w/Acct Numbers, etc.

For Safety's sake I leave the external drive off and Boot up with
internal H/D to get on the net. Using External H/D, A/Wks Opens and
dies. Get Type 3 error code. Doesn't crash the CPU, just No A/Wks 6.

I've Os 9.1 on my internal disk and OS 8.6 on my financial disk.

Yes, I reinstalled A/Wks 6. I've Run Norton Utilities, Disk Warrior,
Spring Cleaning, TechTools Pro 3 and a Beef Eater Gin & Tonic.

I've thought about pulling the Sonnet G3 bds from the PCPs and putting
them in the PTP's ... But I keep remembering the old Motorcycle Racer's
proverb ... "DON'T FOOL WITH A RUNNING MACHINE"
RHB
