The models originally used in the Power Tower series were;
Philips PCA80SC  (8 x sped)
NEC CDR-1410A  (8 x speed)
Toshiba XM-5701B (12 x speed)
Toshiba XM-5301B / XM-5401B  (4 x speed)
TEAC CD-516S (16 x speed)
TEAC CD-56S  (6 x speed)
