You didn't specify which model you have.

OWC has a pretty useful tool, that will list only those products that 
are compatible with your particular model:

I think Techworks will do the same thing for RAM.

I often pay the premium to buy Techworks brand RAM.   I've never had 
it fail.   At other times, I buy what's cheaper, especially if it 
comes with a decent warranty from a company that's likely to be 
around for a while.   It depends how f---ed you'd be if the RAM 
failed at an inopportune time.
