This isn't a Power Computing question, but it comes about because I am still using a Power Computing 120 and therefore never learned anything about USB ports. This list is so great, you guys Know EVERYTHING!
If I get a used iMac for my daughter at college, can it print through some kind of USB adapter to an Apple Laser printer (with Mini DIN8 serial plug)? The USB to serial adapter I saw at MacConnection says it is not Appletalk (Localtalk) compatible. What if I turn appletalk off? As you can see, I haven't a clue on this topic. TIA!
