I will buy more memory when I have the money. It would be helpful if you could write the list back with the exact text of the error message you are getting when you try to copy files. It would seem pretty unlikely that you're running out of RAM when you copy files and try to install things. More likely you're running out of hard disk space on your 2gig internal drive. That would cause your installers to complain. When I was tracking down problems with the people at Sonnet Tech they did ask that I take out the oldest and slowest of the DIMMs in my 7600 - which meant that I took out two 8mb dimms. This may or may not have any bearing on your problem. - Stephen Peters - [EMAIL PROTECTED] ------------------------------------------------Amazing! ------------------------------------------------http://www.amz.com ------------------------------------------------503.827.3500 -- Power Computing is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... 123Inkjets.com <http://lowendmac.com/ad/123inkjets.html> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Power Computing list info: <http://lowendmac.com/power/list.html> Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> List archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/powercomputing%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Macintosh?
