Peter, Have you tried checking to see if all of your memory is installed correctly? Sometimes just looking at the DIMM in the slot doesn't tell you (witness my recent troubles w/ a PTP). Try taking out each DIMM and re-installing it.
Who knows, maybe one of them finally worked it's way loose enough that it doesn't quite fail the memory tests but doesn't quite pass them either... ;-) Peace, Drew -- Having graduated (with a physics BS :-P), I will be using the email address <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Please update your address book. <http://homepage.mac.com/alk/> "Anyone can fly, all you have to do is throw yourself at the ground and miss." -Douglas Adams, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy -- Power Computing is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... 123Inkjets.com <http://lowendmac.com/ad/123inkjets.html> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Power Computing list info: <http://lowendmac.com/power/list.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> List archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/powercomputing%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
