Am I emailing too much? =P

I'm curious if anyone installed a PCI IDE controller
in their PowerComputing computer. I'm looking to buy
an older ATA/UDMA/66 controller but I'm not sure if it
will make things better/faster/lighter and still slice
a tomato afterwards. You know what I mean? For sure
hard drives are cheaper than their SCSI counterpart
but performance is my main concern right now as I
eventually want to run OS X on it.

Any comments?
