Strange. Are you running OSX or not? How was it installed or are you still trying to install it? If you see the beachball spinning that is a good sign that things are installing. On a 225 604e, its going to take a while longer than a G3/G4. How long have you left the beachball spinning? OSX will run on a 120Mhz 604 with 32Mb RAM but vvvvveeerrrrryyyyy slllooowwww. I would suggest using the Radeon and not the twin turbo.
