Mr; Duran-Davis,
Re: Netscape 7.2

I ordered it an a CD from Netscape, directly. Came with a thick, soft
bound manual. For $10.00 including postage I felt it was well worth it.
You never are fully aware of all the features a program has, until one
has perused the the manual.

I removed all Micro Soft internet S/W and utilities including preferance
files, extensions etc from my hard disk.

With OS 9.1 (or 9.2) you can assign "Programs" to the function (F) keys
at the top of your key board. With netscape 4.7, I had assigned my ISP
(cowtown.net) to the F1 key and Netscape to the F2 key. Push F1 then F2
and "Bing" (as Ned, the Insurance Salesman, said in"Ground Hog Day"),
I'm on line.

With Netscape 7.2 there is no need to assign an "F" key to your ISP as
when Netscape opens it automaticly dials your ISP. (Which can be a pain,
when you only need to make an entry to your "Address Book".) to prevent
this, I just hit disconnect as soon as the dialing starts and it leaves
Netscape open and off line.

WARNING, Install Netscape and set it up before removing the MicroSuck
items. Then, you can import your address Book.

Any Email you are saving, as reference material, should be highlited and
copied to SimpleText, TexEdit, AppleWorks or the WP program of your
choice ... If it's that important ... E mail programs are too fragile to
risk loosing it. (Did you hear, the bitter voice of experience there?)

The "Word of the Month" is "Pedicuclar" a. LOUSY, the pronunciation is
almost identical with that of particular. Hence: This Scotch and Dr.
Pepper tastes rather pedicuclar. or, MicroSoft Works 4.0 and Word 6.0
were pedicuclar.
