Question for PowerTower Pro users: Does anyone know where to get
the proper
accessories to mount CD drives and hard drives into the bays on a
PowerTowe Pro?
When I bought my PTP Pro, I was told that the slide mounts were standard
for pc towers, and I could just buy them at my local pc shop, but when I
added an Apple CD-ROM to my PTP, I didn't even bother. I just installed one
drive in the second-from-the-top position with the slide bracket on one
side and the two screws on the other side. Then I installed the other drive
in the top position with only the two side screws; the other side (that I
didn't have a slide bracket for) just rests on the lower drive. It's snugly
installed, works perfectly and is totally level. Of couse, this may not
work for three or four drives!
Good luck,
Scott
