Hi all, I recently installed on my Powercurve 150, a compatible 2 port PCI USB card (finally!). The Logitech mouse works fine with either port, but the system (OS8.6) could not see my Mustek scanner nor my 4 port USB hub on either port. Damn!, methinks.
Then I was given a hard drive with OS9.1 installed. Booted up, and guess what? Yep, the system saw every USB device I hung off the card. Couldn't use 'em all, but System profiler saw 'em for what they were. Now here's the big question. Why? Is it a result of 9.1 being the better OS, or might I have a problem with OS8.6 that I can fix? I need to know because I may have to give back the drive with 9.1 on it.
