Hello everyone, and happy holidays!
I recently bartered for a mint condition Power Tower Pro 250, and have
successfully upgraded it up to OS 9.0.4. However, the clock keeps resetting
itself upon startup to 8/27/56. Is this the sign of a spent battery on the
motherboard, or something else altogether?
Also, since I have $0 into this machine, I'd like to put $200+- into it
so as to be able to run OS X somewhat as well as my B&W g3 400 does(with a
gig of ram in it.) Any recommendations as to the most "trouble free" cpu
upgrade cards, Sonnet, etc?
It's my understanding this machine is dual-processor capable, are these
604E daughtercards difficult to find, or would the g3 pci upgrade card be
the best "bang for the buck?"
Thanks in advance for any advice.
