My USB card is in slot 2. I Have a video card in slot 1. Put both of them in at the same time. Neither worked. Switched slots, same problem. Someone suggested to put in one at the time and start up before installing the other one. After all that still could not get the USB board to work - until I zapped the PRAM. Now it works fine.

Greg Greg, Peter My PCP 180 has the forementioned riser card with a SCSI card in slot 1 and a Firewire/USB card in Slot 2 (as identified by Apple System profiler) . So far, no problems. __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable.
