The updater that I used is Apple's Drive Setup.   I reformatted the entire 
3 GIG drive that I plan to use for OS X. 

If I recall correctly, though, when I went through the same process you're 
doing now, I had the same error, and the answer was to hit the IGNORE 
button and drive on.  The install should finish. 

The reason for the error is because your PowerComputing box was initially 
shipped with drives formatted using FWB's Hard Disk Toolkit.  That means 
that an FWB driver is controlling the drive.
