G3 400 vs G3 466? The only significant computing improvement will be 
the benefits of a much faster system bus. 100 MHz vs 55 MHz. On the 
other hand the B&W is newer, includes both USB and Firewire ports, and 
has very user friendly internal access.

There's no automatic "one is better" kind of answer. However, if you 
want to use Firewire peripherals the B&W is a good choice. If the price 
is right buy it, keep the PT and start your own LAN. :-)
