Are you speaking of the Apple Hard Disk Setup utility? It is strictly for the hard drive. In most cases, you will need to use FWB CD-ROM Toolkit, Intech's CD-DVD Speedtools or perhaps the old Apple CD-ROM driver that came with OS 7.6 to use the CD-ROM in a Power Computing machine. The machines shipped with FWB CD-ROM Toolkit and FWB Hard Disk Toolkit originally, although as you experienced, the Apple Drive Setup will work with some third-party drives. You should be good to go now. -- Chuck -- Power Computing is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... 123Inkjets.com <http://lowendmac.com/ad/123inkjets.html> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Power Computing list info: <http://lowendmac.com/power/list.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> List archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/powercomputing%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
