Well there's no reason it shouldn't work. I've been burning CDs on my PowerBase 180 for years, never had a problem, never made a "coaster". <knocks on wood> I use Toast software (version 4), a (now old) APS 4X CD-R drive attached via SCSI, and cheap generic blank CDs. Admittedly, that's a slower recorder than recent models. But if you're recorder can't actually function at it's maximum speed (and, really, many of the fastest new models cannot, no matter how fast the computer), you can just record at a slower speed. For most casual or occasional CD burning, it'll be fine. It's beats the hell out of NOT burning CDs. - Zulu Kane -- Power Computing is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... 123Inkjets.com <http://lowendmac.com/ad/123inkjets.html> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Power Computing list info: <http://lowendmac.com/power/list.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> List archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/powercomputing%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
