I was about to install a Sonnet G4 700 MHz processor upgrade card when I found out by accident that this machine has the infamous PPC-5000-0141-01 motherboard. The tech at Sonnet said what would have happened had I installed it was I would get the start-up chimes but no video. He went on to say that they are basically dropping the issue because it is not economically feasible for them to pursue the matter.
Does anyone know if there is 'any' upgrade card that will work with this particular (and peculiar!) machine?
