I inherited an Apple 9600 which was upgraded with a G# MAxpowr card from
Newer Technology, which I then upgraded again with a Sonnet 800MHZ, a few
months ago. I still have my original workhorse, PTP225 with lots of ram, but
stripped down to a 9G hard drive as I took out stuff to use in trhe Apple
machine.

Anyway i now would like to use the old G3 Maxpowr in the PTP225. and get
some more years out of it I hope! I cannot find the install CD anywhere, and
the install manual says to install something called LibMoto after the reg.
install.

I have the old install files saved on my Apple, but nowhere can I find
anything called LibMoto. Hate to go to all the trouble of installing the
card, then have that black screen looking at me because I need that
component. I downloaded the latest installation file from OWC for the
Maxpowr, but cant find any info about libMoto.( Is it in the new file or
not)It says in the manual " the libmoto installer should be run next' (
after the reg install).
Anyone have this little file? Or know if its in the installer file I
downloaded?

Also where is the Motherboard reset button on the Maxpowr card. I'm supposed
to reset it after install. One last question... when I installed my Sonnet in
the 9600, the tech told me I should NOT have the memory interleaved, altho
it would probably work leaving it interleaved. SHould I un-interleave the
memory in the PTP with the new Processor card? Or leave it alone.

I never un-interleaved the Apple 9600 and it seems to be fine,,very fast
with the 800 processor.
