to G4/ 1 gig ram I have used XPostFacto 2.2.5 the system restarts
: but the it just sits with a black screen.

When I was trying to upgrade my PCP, I had the same problem. I finally
discovered that I just wasn't patient enough. My system, with 768MB of
RAM, took OVER SEVEN MINUTES to boot, but finally it did.

I'm not guaranteeing that it will work, but try it.

Just another reason that I wonder why someone would want to run Open Step X on a nice Macintosh compatible computer.

Amen Brother Johnson,

I use my OS 10.2.6 rig for email. Then the PTP or PCP with 500MHz G3 (Sonnet cards) OS 9.1 for productive work. My PTP with the G4 PowerLogix card threw craps and wasted a week of my time.
