I just got a new motherboard for my PowerTower Pro 225. All seemed
well for the first couple of days, but then the screen went totally
black and I had to restart to get video again. I thought that it was
because I was testing a monitor at the time. Then, just a few
minutes ago, while I was using a monitor that I know has no problems,
it happened again. I checked the connections and all was well there.
So, I have to wonder if this is a problem with my video card or with
the motherboard. I've never had problems with the video card, which
is an OEM TT128 from a 9600 (it has only DB-15, rather than DB-15 and
VGA). Is there a way to test a PCI slot to see if it's good?
