A friend just asked me about a RAM upgrade for her PowerBase 200. I haven't found consistent information, so I thought I'd ask here.
BTW, Guru 2.9 says that 5-volt EDO RAM is required. But it specifies the same DIMM part numbers as it does for the StarMax 3000 RAM, although it (correctly, I believe) says that the latter machines require 3.3-volt EDO RAM. Unless my brain cells have atrophied, this is a logical inconsistency. - Aaron P.S. If, indeed, 5-volt EDO RAM is required, would anything be damaged by putting in a DIMM that turned out to be non-EDO? -- Power Computing is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... 123Inkjets.com <http://lowendmac.com/ad/123inkjets.html> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Power Computing list info: <http://lowendmac.com/power/list.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> List archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/powercomputing%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
