Just in case this happens to your computer:

My PowerCenter132/G3 refused to start up last night. Pushing the start-up
button or power button - nothing; no chimes, no sign of life. Ok, I figured
let's sleep on it. In the mean time visions were going through my head of
repair bill that would exceed the value of the computer.

This morning, I opened the case, and stared at the innards for a while at
the with the aforementioned visions getting more vivid by the moment. Two
things came to mind (besides a bad power supply:)
1. A bad power supply connection to the motherboard
2. A bad connection of the CMOS (PRAM) battery to the contact clips.

So I pulled the power supply connector from the motherboard. It looked fine.
Put it back. Then gave the COMS battery a couple of turns.
Pushed the start-up key and.....life!!!! Whatever I did, worked.
